Food For Kids

Kids from this age group are not much health conscious. They prefer taste for proper nutrition. Mothers have to take the lead to make them understand about health, nutrition and food value. Do not force them to eat anything. You can make delicious yet healthy food for them.

Smoothies or home-made shakes are good option. Most children likes chocolate flavor or you can use any flavors. Blend milk with fresh fruits of your choice and add nuts, raisins, some organic seeds. Use fresh fruits as far as possible. Avoid adding artificial sugar as fruits will act as natural sweetener.Stir fried vegetables is a delight for every kid. Use all the vegetables your child likes to make the dish. Do not worry, if your child is not fond of any vegetable as such. To ensure the dish has a good food value, add vegetables of different colors. You can use olive oil or any other oils which is high in nutrition. Serve with favorite bread and sauce.
Fruit salads are another option. Take seasonal fruits which provide nut5rients in the diet. Bananas, apples, oranges, lemon are suppliers of vitamin C and other essential nutrients. Add a splash of ice-cream or whipped fresh cream to that to make your child run for it.
Start playing funny by cooking healthy food and use all the healthy ingredients. But do not forget to add the temptation on it like cream, sauces, cheese etc.
